Still not dead. Very behind on LJ, all apologies.

Am in the library right now, in fact. I have been reduced to skipping class to get things done. Skipping. This is not a thing I do.

Am pondering dropping a class. Wednesday is the deadline. I have also never been in a position where I was considering dropping a class. If it was a regular course I would not be considering it, but it is Design, and I have much, much, work still to be done and am likely looking at a grade that starts with only a 7_, which I do not want at all. It is not my ability to get it done I doubt, but my ability to get it done well without sacrificing my marks in all my other courses and my bloody booth lab.

I will be interesting less boring again at some point, I promise.

I would drop it; focusing on what you need to do in the other four classes is maybe better than sacrificing your grades for only one class. you can always try and get it in a summer semester, which are better for work/focus intensive classes. anyway, that's what I would do.

That is what I am worried about -- it dragging my other marks down. I still have a lab final, several tests, and a midterm, as well as regular labs and homework. I would have to take it next year during term (it's not offered over summer), but. Yeah. *frets* *frets*

there's no real stigma to dropping a class, and it sometimes IS the best course of action (hee. course.) especially if it'll keep your GPA up there. And maybe next year you'll be able to work this class into an easier / lighter semester. yes? :)
