I'm at work so I can't save this or watch it yet, but wanted to tell you that I'm really looking forward to doing so!

And now I've watched it, and yay! Great song choice (always love Tracy Chapman) and the clips were really well-chosen, nothing random or filler, it seemed. Great work!

I actually don't have any Tracy Chapman though, and am not very familiar with her newer stuff, so it's still very welcome. I had her first album on tape and wore the damn thing out. I replaced it on CD at some point, but I think it got lost like four moves ago. :(

LoM, though a small fandom, has collected a number of rather amazing vids which are worth checking out.

This was awesome even in the draft stages. Now it's really amazing. It's so Sam and you're tearing him apart and it's just fantastic to watch. Painful and fantastic.

Oh, thank you ever so much. To be honest, I originally set out to make a vid to a completely different song, but this one just fit Sam so perfectly.

I thought for sure I had commented on this when I first watched it, but it appears I didn't. I came back to re-watch it this morning! I really like your focus here, how it's about the weight and the contentment that the work gives Sam, how he finds his grounding that way. Well done, I really enjoyed it.

Oh, I love this to itty bitty bits! It's by far my favorite LoM vid that I've seen so far (though, considering I've only been in the fandom for *cough* about a week, I suppose that's not as impressive as it could be!). The song is gorgeous, the editing is lovely, and the whole thing so wonderfully captures the feeling of the show and Sam's life and how he feels about the others. It's a beautiful vid and I'll probably be playing it on repeat for quite awhile. :)
