40C and muggy. Fun. The bugs seem to like it, though.
Oh well. They do serve an important part on the food chain (or so I hear) and their continued absence couldn't have been all that good that way. Plus, it's an excuse to read some of the books I picked up the other day. My room is in the basement, so it's all nice and cool. I got a few old favourites that I haven't read for awhile, and I kind of started to see where some of my writing styles and quirks have a bit of a base. But that's a post for another day.
I towed my first truck today! ::Bounces:: I'm all proud. I was actually kind of freaked, especially with the huge gaping hole in the truck floor and somewhat spotty brakes and fresh gravel and the fact that that bloody thing doesn't have hazard lights, but everything went okay. My dad actually told me that I did a good job, and compliments from him are pretty rare.
The truck is all safe and sound. Well, at the very least, it's not in any worse shape than it was when it started needing to be towed. ::G::
