I'm not a particularly motion-savvy vidder, but when it comes to my experience as a viewer, I like how humansrsuperior does things in that regard. (Example!) Also, millylicious. (Example!) I think both those example vids tie internal and external movement into the music in concrete and evocative ways, using the music to highlight bits of visual motion *and* using the visuals to highlight various interesting musical things, as well.
