Today, I...
-Stopped the canary from eating too much of my miniature palm.
-Cleaned out under my bed. A shot put (I really need to remember to return that.), numerous books, telephone directory, a cane, a roll of SweetTarts, corrupted floppy disks, a hard copy of a couple of my original stories, lip chap, tensor, my basketball jersey (clean), my SevenDust CD, hand lotion, red hair-streaky stuff, some Kinder Surprise toys, my welding coveralls, and a softball. And if you think that that was surreal, you should try being the one who was scooping it all out from under there.
-Got a phone call from school admin. They want me to organize the beginning of school BBQ. Which isn't so bad, except that I asked them at the end of last year, and they told me that I wouldn't have to do it, as I'd mentioned that we'd have no product.
-Phoned around, trying to get specific numbers. For the BBQ, the Servery, the pop machines, and the foot ball team.
-Found out that the first home game is indeed before out second Coke delivery (All of our suppliers have us on a rotating two week schedule.)
-Found out that the football coach is in Colorado, after much phoning around. Hacked together and placed what I hope is a decent order, after being bounced around on hold at Coca-Cola, and finally deposited at a voice mail.
-Phoned around to let various members of the football team to let them know when their first game of the season is, and when they start practice.
-Realized that the chip guy came yesterday. I am lacking in food. Figured out a way to secure 275 bags of chips.
-Spent a couple of hours over at the garden, weeding.
-Received final confirmation of my registration for the volleyball camps.
-Did not kill my sister.
