I try to keep my politics out of this journal, I really do, but this must be said:

Dear Stephen Harper;

Screw you. Screw you and your bigotry, your private health care system, your tax cuts for the rich, your social agenda, your ignorant MPs, your attempts to dissolve the gay marriage laws, and your complete moral reprehensibility.

I have no deep thoughts at the moment -- I don't like Paul Martin, or the Liberals, but I really think a moderately well-trained trained monkey could have run a more effective campaign than they did.

At least it's a minority government, and they don't tend to last long. Or get to make big changes. *crosses fingers for Canada*

Actually, more than anything, I think I'm angry that our local Conservative MP was reelected. For a variety of reasons, I have no respect for the woman.
