Oh, goodness, whatever possessed me to take on a hobby that makes me want to stab myself in the face, repeatedly?

I mean, seriously. That is a pretty lame hobby.

Strangely, this seems to be an almost common sentiment among vidders I know, lately.

Because it takes a certain level of masochism to get into it? (My first response was "Because vidding is dumb," but then I realized it wasn't vidding that was dumb.)

I should have another draft for you in an hour or so. It probably won't have fancy notes addressing things and stuff, because my brain is starting to be bleh-inated, but it will be there.

If I'd known I was going to be vidding, I would have done things differently when I got my compy last summer.

Oh come on, FCP isn't that bad! It's fun! :)

FCP itself isn't so bad. It's the combination of the program, my compy not being one purchased with vidding in mind, and the attempt to make something that doesn't suck monkey tail that is frustrating.

Because the end result is made of awesome?

Oh, goodness, I hope it end up made of awesome. I think it is gradually losing suck -- this last draft was a bit less frustrating, yes.
