So this is what a humidex warning feels like.

Ick. We barely have enough moisture to keep our crops from completely failing, but we have ten degrees of humidity. The 40 Cs suck.

But in better news: We now have 911 service! We can just dial 911 now. Well, we could have dialed it before, except for that nothing would have happened save for the dial tone and then the recording that cuts in 'The number you have dialed is not in service...'

Isn't it horrible? I feel like I ought to be able to pick the air up, it's so heavy here. I read in the paper today that a thousand chickens *roasted* to death because of the heat. >.
