Computers. Hate. Me.

So, it looks like my burner's fucked. It'll burn MP3 disks, and the audio cds will play on a computer, but the audio cds in a cd player? Will sometimes play for a bit, if play-pause-play-pause-play is hit, but then it'll stall out between tracks, or read insane amounts of silence, or just die. I thought it was the blanks I had, but I took them back and exchanged them for new ones, and the problem persisted. One I burned for a friend's brother had the same problem, so it's not the brand.

Um. Any ideas?

Depending on what burning software you're using, there should be an option to "finalize" the disks so that they do play on audio players. Poke around in the settings, maybe?

I'm using iTunes, and I've got it set to the 'Audio' setting, which automatically finalized it. I've seen it run the phase on disks that don't play in a CD player.

Thanks anyway. ::G::
