Happy holidays!

It seems like most people had a blast, so, hurrah for them! (Hugs to those who didn't, of course -- I'm afraid I've fallen slightly behind on LJ again.)

I have a keyboard for my computer now. I raked in that, a pair of sweatpants, a bunny hug, and a hairbrush, all of which I really needed.

Oooh! And, yay! Joy is the fic I got for the Yuletide challenge. Dead Like Me, wonderful George-voice. Reggie's expecting.

What I love about this, I think, is how it seems to be perfectly translated in time. These are the same characters we know, but a little older -- they can't age in the same way we do, and this has caught it. This is now exactly how I see things for the Reapers in fourteen years. George is stuck and moving on all at once.

Heh. Someone will read mine, eventually. Yay for writing the only story in a truly obscure fandom!

Also, some SOBs canceled Dead Like Me. Why do all my favourite shows die so young?

Hey! *waves* Now that I can reveal my identity, I just wanted to drop by and say how happy I am that you liked "Joy." I wasn't sure how well it was going to work, so your comments really reassured me! Also, I see now that the names are up that you wrote one of my favorite fics this year, "Perigree." I love the Declan/Miranda! I was very close to asking for that as one of my requests myself. ;)
