cherryGrad was great. The speakers went on and on, but it was still good. I was very proud of the slideshow, as I did a fair deal of the work in putting it together, and people really seemed to enjoy it. They went out of their way to tell me that. Went around to a couple of people's places that night, afterwards, but didn't stay out that late because I've been sick and the Grad party was Saturday night.
Actually, I ended up staying later than I wanted to, because I was driving my sister from the last place, and she refused to leave.
The Grad party was a blast, too. Freezing cold, but a blast. The way it works out here is that one of the graduands has to invite you, and their parents chaperone you. The fire was really small because of the burn ban, but the night just flew.
There's just something about sitting around a fire with your friends, watching the sun come up as the DJ winds down the last songs.
God, I'm going to miss those guys.
