nisie: Five worst things about living in an apartment.
1. Paper walls. I'm afraid to practice the flute or listen to music.
2. Communal. Laundry.
3. That apartment building smell in the hall.
4. The fact that the couple across the hall are always fighting.
5. The lack of space. I have plants in a bucket on my couch.
For
kindkit: Five things that Ray K. loves about Fraser.
1. Fraser is not perfect -- Fraser is wonderfully, thoroughly human, and with Ray he doesn't (usually) pretend otherwise.
2. A lot of the time, when Fraser says 'thank you,' he's really saying 'fuck you,' and no one else has a clue.
3. Fraser trusts him. Trusts him beyond all reason.
4. The way Fraser looks at him when he thinks Ray's not paying attention.
5. The hat, and how he doffs it.
and/or five things about Fraser that annoy him.
1. Sometimes, Fraser is a giant bitch, and Ray has absolutely no one to complain to about it, because everyone else would just look at him like he's nuts.
2. Fraser constantly hangs up Ray's clothes and reorganizes Ray's closets, and Ray no longer knows where to find anything he owns.
3. Fraser is, apparently, attractive to every damsel in distress (and some of the prince charmings) they meet.
4. Fraser does not like Stella. At all.
5. Fraser trusts Ray beyond all reason, so if (when) Ray fucks up, he's going to have no one to blame but himself.
and/or five things that Fraser loves about Ray K.
1. How Ray blew into his life like a hurricane. Fraser had always considered himself to be reasonably prepared and self-aware, but Ray turned him upside down.
2. The way Ray looks at him all the time
3. Ray's loyalty and dedication to the people he loves and people he's just met.
4. The way Ray's hands move when he's talking.
5. Ray's loyalty and dedication to his job and to keeping order.
and/or five things about Ray K. that annoy Fraser.
1. Ray's rather appalling lack of self-esteem.
2. That Ray's loyalty and dedication to his job mean that he will never be truly happy away from it.
3. That Ray's loyalty and dedication to Fraser, coupled with his appalling lack of self-esteem mean that he'll try, anyway.
4. That Ray makes Fraser too selfish to stop him.
5. Ray feeds Dief under the table when he doesn't think Fraser's paying attention.
For
c_regalis, who was trying to stump me*: 5 Sexiest Things About Callum Keith Rennie.
1. The talent. (Am I the only one who finds talent incredibly attractive? The fiddler in Emerson Drive is the most attractive person in the band to me, and it's not just because of the arms.)
2. The crinkly-eyed smile.
3. Two words: Experimental hair.
4. The eyes.
5. The hands.
*And, no, I'm afraid wasn't being completely facetious. The man is more than twice my age and as old as my father and I'm sorry, but that's a stumbling block for me.
-- Half of my flist is defriending me right now, aren't they? Oh dear.

That's kind of what I was going for. *G I've seen a few '20 things about character X' fics floating around. Some of them have been absolutely amazing, and some... less so. I rather did want to try my hand at them.
... Also, now I'm wishing I had a Due South bunny to write, because it's been a while.
