Say one were to have found a two litre of (rather good) juice in one's trunk.* Now, knowing that this juice has been through the freeze-thaw-boil-freeze-boil-repeat cycle of Saskatchewan winter and Saskatchewan 'spring' -- would one think this was still good to drink?
* Assuming one is not a hobo, despite all evidence to the contrary, and merely uses one's trunk for extra storage room.**
** What? It's not like I was using the trunk for anything else.

The one time I had something other than water in my Nalgene bottle, it was iced tea for a long drive, and I ended up forgetting about it and leaving it the sun in the front seat of my car in 35 degree weather.
I was looking at it, eyeing it for the trip back, and then I realized exactly what I was thinking.

Is this like how people ask me how I know that Cheese Whiz can actually go bad? Because if I never have to revisit that memory again, I'll be okay with it.

If it hasn't been opened and the vacuum seal is still good it might be okay? Possibly.

... Like I said, I'm not actually a hobo? I just needed some place to keep things, and I wasn't using the trunk for anything else. *is not like the other kids*

wasn't that helpful! and i use my trunk to store things, too. mostly ice skates, umbrellas, spare tires, and limp soccer balls. i don't really know why.

Is it wrong that your story makes me giggle? I mean, I'm sure it was very startling, but it makes me smile.

It is an excellent storage space! Though, my figure skates are in a flower pot in my coat closet.
... Yeah, you probably don't want to know.
