Say one were to have found a two litre of (rather good) juice in one's trunk.* Now, knowing that this juice has been through the freeze-thaw-boil-freeze-boil-repeat cycle of Saskatchewan winter and Saskatchewan 'spring' -- would one think this was still good to drink?

* Assuming one is not a hobo, despite all evidence to the contrary, and merely uses one's trunk for extra storage room.**

** What? It's not like I was using the trunk for anything else.

If the juice has been opened previously and lips have touched it? Dear god no. Otherwise, it's good!

Not that I know from experience or anything... :D

The one time I had something other than water in my Nalgene bottle, it was iced tea for a long drive, and I ended up forgetting about it and leaving it the sun in the front seat of my car in 35 degree weather.

I was looking at it, eyeing it for the trip back, and then I realized exactly what I was thinking.

Not that I know from experience or anything... :D

Is this like how people ask me how I know that Cheese Whiz can actually go bad? Because if I never have to revisit that memory again, I'll be okay with it.

Is Cheese Whiz like like Kraft cream cheese in a jar? Because that goes really festy if you leave it in the fridge for several months and strangely enough still tastes like it's fresh. *shudders*

If it hasn't been opened and the vacuum seal is still good it might be okay? Possibly.

It's a "cheddar" cheese spread in a jar, and you can totally tell if it goes bad.
