Nov. 17th, 2003 11:55 pmIn the last 96 hours...
Hours of sleep obtained: 8
Hours spent at home: 12 (7 after school today)
Days spent in Rez, working on major commerce project with partner: 2
Last busses missed: 1
People met that day who offered to let me crash in Rez so I wouldn't get lost or abducted on my way home in the early hours: Enough that a (cozy) bed was obtained.
Worrisomely drunk people met that night helped out: 1
Charity events volunteered at: 2
- Pi Throw (the pieing of people for charitable donations)
- Discover (workshops aimed at grade 8 girls to encourage female enrollment in university)
Final Grey Cup score: 34-22
Teams cheered for: 2
Blows ducked from friends on either side: 30-some
Pizza places in S'toon that also deliver donuts: 1
Classic Saskatchewan moments: 1 (Beer, pizza, and football. And donuts.)
Alcoholic beverages consumed: Not nearly enough.
Friends hooked up with unseen for months: 2
City slickers annoyed with loud mixture of country, rock, and rap music: Too numerous to count
Conferences in the capitol city to speak at tomorrow: 1
Inches of ice on highway between here and there: 2
Speeches to prepare: 1
Pages of major commerce report to rewrite (as partner seems to have a slightly shakier grasp on English language and syntaxes): 10
Deep breaths taken upon discovery of fact that said partner had left six of his sections empty: 12
Projected remaining time before completion of project: 4.5+ hours
Current time: 11:55AM
Time departing university for Pile Of Bones (actual nickname of our cap): 6:15AM
Alarm set for: 4:30AM
Walk between commerce partner's Rez and departure point of speakers at conference/banquet: 5 minutes
Chance commerce partner will get out of bed and obtain assignment from me that must, imperatively, be handed in to class today while I am away: Slim to none.
Times head bashed off wall: Lost track. Will count dents.
Reasons for sitting here and writing this instead of slogging away at report and hopefully catching an hour or two of zzz's: 0
