Nov. 24th, 2004 03:26 pmIn one of my classes, our prof started talking. Not that this is an unusual occurence, mind you -- but I digress.
One of his fellow faculty members had passed away, and all other sections had canceled their classes to attend the funeral. (Our prof was there because he wanted us to be ready for the test on Monday, but it was obvious he was miles away.)
So he started talking about this man's life. Spent years in a camp during the second world war, and managed to talk his way in to teaching math to one of the officers.
I've been rather stressed lately, but the thing is?
We forget how lucky we are. We do.
