Why are the cute ones named 'Sam' always disposable?

So. Sucks to be Rob Lowe this week. Or these past few weeks. He didn't get an Emmy nom, unlike a certain group of nine of his co-starts. Which really wasn't any great surprise. As Sam, he's sweet, he's cute, and he's adorably idealistic, even when he's screwing up.

And now he's leaving West Wing. ::Sniffles:: Salary disputes. Since it'll be mid-season, I'm guessing I'm going to have make up my own little story about a happy ending for him. My powers of denial about what's actually happened to the characters in a show are rather good. Take X-Files, for example...

Like I said on the vent thread: Personal message to Rob Lowe: Remember what happened to Judd Nelson after he left Suddenly Susan? What? Nothing? Yeah, that's what I thought. I'm gonna miss idealisitc Sam. Besides, he never got the chance to fall in love and marry Margaret. ;)

As I've recently drifted away from the board... Okay, I've barely been back since the last time it blew up, but that's not the point.

Y'know how I said I was going to have to make up my own little story about what was happening? Lindy has the log of that. She's going to post it to her diary next time she updates. It involves Sam, Margaret, helicopters, and the Russian President. Do bother her to update. ::G::
