cherryI now have:
1) My photo ID. It goes with my driver's, and the picture is actually half way decent.
2) A dog! We have a dog again! We haven't had one since my dad shot my last one. Her name is Emily, and she's every so lovely. She likes everyone, and she's quiet except for when she's lonely. The people we got her from say that she's a Black Lab/Golden Retriever cross, but there has to be something else in her. She's on the small side of medium, about seven month old, but not likely to grow much more. You can see the lab in some of the bone structure, and the retriever in her coat, but her size says that there's something else. We suspect Border Collie, because she's black with a white sock, and blazes on her chest, nose, and forehead, and she shows some herding tendencies.
Her hearing is really rather good, even for a dog, but she came from a farm where there were two other dogs for her to play with, as well as cats and a tame rabbit, so she gets a bit lonely.
3) No cats. We've had Emily for a few days, and our cats have already disappeared. They were always half wild around everyone but me, but I was hoping they'd stick around. But, on the bright side, it means that my dad won't get to kill the kittens like he'd planned.
