Oct. 3rd, 2002 04:56 pmHee!
Awards night was Tuesday. I made honour role, and got a nice, shiny medal for Top Female Student. Because of the way they calculate the honour roll, my average was actually a couple per cent higher than I thought it would be. 94.4%
I say again, Hee!
Ahem. Yes. Sorry. I'm just a bit proud. I'll be quiet now. I'm just kind of happy.
Squeak and Squawk was Wednesday. We had the most adorable little boy in our clinic. Blond hair sticking out all over the place, and he caught on really quickly. All of our kids were great, as well as the cute old lady.
We got to go golfing in gym! Was much fun, even though I have to be the world's worst golfer. It was a par 3, and I wouldn't be surprised if I had more than 150, but somewhere along the way I kind of stopped counting. ::G:: Of course, then there are the ones that I missed completely... And all of the ones I lost into the water. I lost a ball in every single little lake. And not right by the shore, where I could use the funny little spiral-y thing (Witness my impressive grasp of technical terms) to scoop it out, but way out in the middle, and as our phys ed teacher had told us that he was going to stick us on the bus for the day if we striped down and swam in them...
We've learned all sorts of interesting things about golf. We had a handout, even. Don't hit rocks at the people in your group. Don't hit your ball at the next group to tell them that you think that they're slow. Don't swim in the water traps. Don't make sand castles in the sand traps. All good stuff.
::Peers at her Friendslist:: I go AFK for a few days, and I have no idea at all of what's going on...
