Three gyms for 700 students is a lot. But I can't relate to the small-school-ishness because my 4-grade high school was 2,200 kids. We had approximately 550 per class. Mine was like 560, and the classes below us were supposed to be getting smaller (around 470) after a few years since they redrew one part of the boundary.
