I have awards nominations! Hee.

(Sorry. Am rather amused by this. Considering there are four of them for a second-person slash story in a fandom I don't consider myself active in, and I had three CBFFA nominations.)

I guess this answers the question niggling in the back of my mind as to whether or not I pulled off the POV. ::G::

And so that this isn't All 'Bout Cherry --

Congrats are due out to [livejournal.com profile] kiraboshiwho has a humour nomination for 'Sporks and Fries,' and [livejournal.com profile] jennyo who has -- well, a goodly few.

As I side note, it appears I've now been writing fic for almost two years.

Will not rant about people who rant about teenage girls who write fic. Will not rant about people who throw out 'reads like it was written by a teenage girl' as if it's an insult.

Oooh! Rec. Shiny.

No, I'm not a teenage girl. What would make you think that?

One of my favorite Young Justice fic writers is only fifteen. And has been writing since she was eight. She boggles my mind.

And I know of one writer in another fandom who "writes like a teenage girl" but is in her late thirties. Scary.

Yes, but... Technically, we all were once writing like teenage girls. Even the boys.

Except that you're right. It's a silly stereotype. Rephrase: writing like star-struck, romantically-inclined twits.

Never! Don't forget those of us with our uber-manly guns and bombs and big explosion summer-blockbuster Guy Stories. Grunt grunt ug.

See, I know I write like a teenage girl. I mean, I *am* a teenage girl. It just annoys me when people use it as an insult.

It's always good for a laugh when someone uses it around me, though. ::G::

Vote early and vote often!

No, but seriously. This round, you get to vote for every story in every category that you think should go through. You can vote for the same story (say, Celli's 'Inevitable' ) in more than one category, but only once in each category.

I have hope that one or two of my nominations could possibly make it through to the second round, but we'll just have to see where the cards fall.
