There are a few of those "getting to know you" memes floating around at the moment, and I've realized something.

I know very little about a number of you. A rather larger number of you than I'd like, as there's been a bit of growth in my friendslist lately.

So, tell me about yourselves. Please. I really want to know. What do you do, where do you live, which is your favourite band? Tell me about your first dog or how you got here or why you friended my journal.

I read this and immediately thought of Bilbo's birthday speech in Fellowship of the Ring.

Let's see, about me... I first friended you because I loved your x-men fic, but I haven't been interested in x-men for a good long while, and then I friended you on my fandom journal because you are nifty cool and I'm just getting into Due South. Other stuff about me: I'm eighteen, I hail from Utah (no I'm not mormon), I still love comics though I've abandoned Marvel, and recently I have fallen deeply, deeply in love with both Everwood and Veronica Mars. Which kind of sucks for me, because Everwood seems to be a mostly dead fandom and Veronica Mars seems to be dominated by teeny-bopper idiots.

Hee! I'm rather far out of comics at the moment, so it's nice to know that I'm still amusing enough to keep around.

Also, go Due South!

I've heard good things about VMars, and am thinking of checking it out. I haven't turned on my tv for almost two months. I'm not joking.

I'm on AIM as Ayana Lily, but we've already gotten that sorted out. *G*
