Sep. 3rd, 2005 06:46 pmAm safe and sound. Yay.
Also, can I just say that due South has ruined me for other fandoms?
I used to be used to getting only one or two pieces of feedback per story. Now, it is a very disappointing thing. I mean, I was never happy with the fact. I was just inured to it.
(This is, of course, in reference to the pinch hit I wrote for Multiverse 2005, for which the names have not yet been revealed. It's very cool set of stories all around, though, you should check it out.)

Date: 2005-09-04 08:53 pm (UTC)So, you know, it isn't just that dS is the Best Fandom Ever.
It might also be that it's possible the story just isn't that good. *G* I reread it recently, and I am no longer as happy with it as I was before.

Date: 2005-09-04 11:19 pm (UTC)I was just pointing out a problem I've been having with the Multiverse, which is: I'm right at my limit of human tragedy, both personally and...nationally? Hmmm. Anyway, I've already been crying randomly, I'm already very emotionally labile. I just can't handle tragic or dark fic right now, and I don't want to take the risk of encountering it unexpectedly. This is kind of sad, because normally I love blind reading. But in Multiverse, I'm waiting for the author reveal, so that at least I have a *little* more knowledge going into the stories.
And I figure other people may be doing the same - poking at the blind fic a bit more cautiously because they're emotionally over-extended. Hence, you know, less feedback.
