Anyone know the best way to get blood out of the carpet and/or your favourite bunny hugs?

Okay, wow. Computer's still on the fritz, haven't been getting emails from my boss at school, my email didn't make it through for the DS Seekrit Santa thing, my own bloody fault for not checking sooner (although, the last few ficathons I did I didn't end up with fic anyway), and I just got kicked in the face.

By my rabbit. I'm bleeding from the eye.

So. Best way to get blood out of the carpet and your favourite bunny hug?

OMG. What H said about the cold water, and ::hugs:: because I'm having that kind of week, too. Seriously, I actually hurt myself the other day while pulling up my damn socks. o.O

Awww. *snugs* Don't you hate weeks like this?

I think my bunnyhug will recover, though, so YAY!

Hope your week gets better, hon.

Oxy-clean and very hot water.

Or very cold milk. But then you have to be careful to get the milk out or you get sour milk smell.

I think the cold water has worked, at least for my bunny hug.

I'll keep the milk tip in mind for the future. With my level of coordinations, it's something that's sure to come in handy. Thank you.

Eeep, you poor thing. I have no advice to add (though the cold water thing sounds familiar), but I sympathise. Pet-derived injuries just seem to *hurt* more, somehow.

(And aw, hee--bunny hug! Saskatoon has the cutest vernacular anywhere. *g*)

They do! Because your pets are supposed to love you and not make you bleed.

Hey. Bunny hug is a Saskatchewan phrase. I was like, 15 before I found out that not everyone called them bunny hugs. (Hoodie is a bunny hug without a front pocket, only. At least, to most of us.)

It just took me a good 30 seconds to figure out wtf a bunny hug was.

IT'S CALLED A HOODIE, YOU FLAT-LANDER FREAK.

It's a hoodie if it doesn't have a front pocket. *G*

Also, you wish your fland was as flat as ours. Mountains are only good for skiing and snowboarding and waterfalls and looking pretty, anyway.

At least we haven't elected Raph Kline king for life.

*smooch*

Gah. Just gah. For the jumper? Soak in cold water straight away and then scrub with heavy duty landry soap (I'd say Sards but I don't think you've got that) or maybe NapiSan?. Rub it in, leave that to sit for a few hours, rinse repeat until the blood's out. And then wash it really well because it'll be full of soap.

Actually, probably the same thing'd work for the carpet. Damp it, rub the soap in, rinse it, try to scrub the water out with a rag after.

Um, wow. Major suckage. *smooch* Did the blood come out? If not, repeated soakings in the cold water, and if that doens't work than wet the material and pour baking soda on it. (Then you have to deal with cleaning up the baking soda, but that's a little easier.)

Also, bunnyhug always cracks me up as a term, especially in this entry - "my bunny just got blood on my bunnyhug" - whuzza? ;)

It's what it's CALLED. *sulk* A hoodie doesn't have a front pocket. It's a very important distinction.

Also, your icon is reminding me that I should make a CSI batch.

If I can find images...

I think I'm good, hon. I think it's saved.

Also, yes, baking soda is better than blood.
