Jan. 16th, 2006 02:08 pmThere was a nice, long, (cut) post here about my design project, and how excited and dorky I am about it, but LJ just ate it. Bad LJ. No cookie.
(Using groundwater for the dispersion of hydrocarbon degraders for deep level bioremediation, if anyone is interested.) I know, I know, but I think it's cool and wicked interesting.

Date: 2006-01-17 06:45 am (UTC)I am like, mad excited.
*geeks out*
You guys do a senior design as well, don't you?

Date: 2006-01-17 06:48 am (UTC)(I'm sorry, hon. I get to geeking out and don't realize that I'm using technobanble. Endoplasmic reticulum!)
Seriously, though, endoplasmic reticulum is my very favourite thing to say in the world.

Date: 2006-01-18 04:53 am (UTC)Basically, bioremediation is using plants and microorganisms to clean contaminated sites by breaking down the contaminants. I want to use the groundwater system to deliver some of the microbial hydrocarbon degraders.
(See, I bet you guess it!)
(Also, go you! You're getting pimped out all over the place by internet famous people. Woot!)

Date: 2006-01-18 08:49 pm (UTC)People are flisting me... um... because of my wit and sparkling personality. And because I usually manage to avoid my tangents on random engineering things.
... Okay, so I lied. Who needs friends anyway? *G*
Go you!
