Jul. 30th, 2006 09:32 pmI have come to the conclusion that technology must just hate me. Either that, or I just have some sort of wonky electrical field (which is partially true -- I am the queen of static electricity).
Exhibit A: The Great Computer Meltdown of '04 and the exploding logic board of '06.
Exhibit B: Within a week, three computers commonly used by me and around me died.
Exhibit C: Yesterday, I had to return my three-month-old printer for a new one. I've had this one for three months because the one I had before that died after nine. I took that one because the one I'd had for a year kerploded.
Exhibit D: My land line phone is dying an excruciating death.
Exhibit E: Photoshop (and other programs) have been known to exhibit behaviour about me previously unseen by technical professionals and the like. "Huh, no, there isn't supposed to be a monkey in CS2. No, that program is SUPPOSED to open .wmvs as well... No, the pixels aren't supposed to be dribbling sideways across the screen."
I'm going to start a deevolution. There will be rocks, and chisels, and we shall use the latter to transcribe data onto the former.
In other news: new icon, yay! Is it Torchwood yet?

Date: 2006-07-31 01:05 pm (UTC)(Also, btw, I know it's a screen grab, and I know admitting this is going to make me look like a giant dork, but: the missing comma on your icon throws me every time. I keep thinking: 11-ish?)
