Poll time!
Sep. 21st, 2006 10:45 pmI am terribly behind on email and LJ in general, and I am sorry. I do have quick poll, because I am curious.* And not in any way because I am about to lose my ability to post polls.
By what age do you think people should be moving out of the home of their parental units? Barring extenuating circumstances, of course -- if one is an undergraduate student at a university in the same town, for example, or the child is actually the one who owns the home.
[Poll #827176]
* Also in no way because I have recently seen Failure to Launch, as that is not the sort of movie I am likely to watch. But if I had, I would be able to reconfirm my opinion of Bradley Cooper's extreme excellence.

And this is why I used the 'barring extenuating circumstances' bit, because yes, this is v. valid.
Because I actually understand the money issue, but I also HATE LIVING WITH MY PARENTS. It triggers major anxiety/depression episodes. Then again, apparently not paying rent is also good for preventing those. Go figure.
I know where you are coming from, there, because living with my parents for any amount of time would -- yeah. My sister would be even worse, with her 'maybe if you were pretty like me you'd have a boyfriend!'
