Imagining the Tenth Dimension is neat -- animation does a pretty good job of explaining the ten dimensions, with a brief digression into alternate universes.

That? Is unbelievably cool. Even if science that I can understand probably has very little to do with Actual Science.

as is this book I'm reading about dust. Did you know that dust is really, really interesting? It is!

Dust is like 80% formerly living tissue, is it not?

You're talking to a girl who just bought Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything on a whim.

Household dust is. The book also talks about all kinds of really cool things, like asbestos dust and grain dust and things like that.

I want that book. And Tim Flannery's The Weathermakers. I won't have time to read any of this stuff once I'm back at uni so I want to read it all now.

It's very cool. A little too full of anime conventions and a little kiddy but still, very, very cool.
