cherryWe did our last fitness tests today. Whoo!
Now, I normally hate the things with a vengeance, but I managed to blow all of my goals out of the water. Go me. I'll never be one of the guys who can run forty laps in eight minutes. In fact, I dislike running a great deal. Usually, I'm just going against me, but I did pretty well. At push ups, sit ups as well. And I beat the entire class for the stretch test.
Yeah, I'm a little proud.
We're going water skiing and wake boarding all day tomorrow. Wind up for gym class. Heading down to the Strap first thing (Our Phys Ed teacher got us all our special permission to drive from the division director---We have to have it any time we drive ourselves anywhere, and we're not allowed to transport fellow students.)
I've never done either before, so I'm really looking forward to it. The fact that the 'Strap is going to be freezing will provide enough motivation for trying not to fall down. It was 27C today, but we've only been averaging about 13C for the past few weeks, and it takes more than one day to warm the entire valley.
Oh well. ::G:: The sun will warm us up.
Note to self: Bring sunscreen. And ball glove.
