Dec. 29th, 2007 04:44 pmTwo and a half weeks later, I have been reunited with my computer. And there was much rejoicing. The upside of this is that my apartment is really, really, really clean at the moment. Its normal state somewhat resembles a recycling depo after a small hurricane has blown through, so this is starting to get a little creepy.
I have four more glorious days before I'm back to the grind -- though there is hope that this coming term will be somewhat less grind-some. I'm taking a photography class, people. I have a couple of classes floating around this year and next that I can use as I see fit, and I sure do plan to load up on things I actually enjoy. Oh, the freedom of choice! Is this what arts students feel like all the time?
My Christmas tree, instead of dying slowly, is attempting to grow. All of the terminal branches are green and elongating. This is just going to make that inevitable day when I chuck it off my balcony and drag it to the trash that much more tragic.
... I'm afraid that in my prolonged absence, I really haven't gotten any more interesting.

Date: 2008-01-02 01:20 am (UTC)Well, at least you've got a week to get the class details. It reminds me a little of art history subjects, where the course readers often aren't available until week 4 of the semester. (We only have 12 week semesters.)
