Oh, wow. That is just stunning. I need to watch it a bunch more to take it all in. Wow.

The fractured storytelling is really brought out by the jumpcuts, reversing, and interplay within the clips. There's a broken feeling to the vid where it seems like everything is trying to fit together in a jumbled mess. Love the play on Amber and House representing the same character. Using an instrumental piece for this was a perfect choice. I think any lyrics would have dulled the sharply viseral impact of the vid. Amazing work.

Beautiful. The editing was spot on and the music you selected really helped to create the sense of duality between House and Amber.

Brilliant work.

You combined my two favorite things (House and NIN) and you did a marvelous job at it! Great editing, perfect music. I can't get enough of it!

Oh, thank you. I was at first somewhat leery of using an instrumental piece, but it just seemed to fit so well with what is (at least for my personal creative/stylistic process) a somewhat experimental vid.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Not enough brain for coherency right now, but wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed this: House as ghost story, memories and ghosts, easily one of the most visually striking House vids I've seen.

This was fascinating -- really drew me in at the con. I don't know the show at all, but I was mesmerized.

Dude! I just saw your new Dr. Who vid recced on my friend's list and although I have a feeling that one's brilliant, too, I don't have enough canon knowledge to really appreciate it.

THIS one, though, I do understand and man, it is hella effective. I know I've seen a draft of it already, but watching it again felt like a punch in the gut, only...you know. Prettier. *g*

HI, by the way. I've been stuck in no-internet-land for what feels like forever - how are things with you?

Trippy stutter cuts.

For. The. Win.

I really enjoy seeing something different like this every now & then. Great stuff!

Oh, thank you. I was pushing some of my personal stylistic boundaries with this one, so I am ever so glad to hear that it worked for you.

I got a rec? Wheee!

I remember that last time, you weren't overly fond of the back half, so I'm glad that the entire vid worked for you this time.

Hi! I am crazy-busy, but reasonably well. There was a bit of an incident yesterday, but the up side is that we are now sure my ankle is not broken, just sprained. How are you? I still owe you music/audio book uploads, do I not?

That was just ... stunning. Happy? No. Unforgettable? Yes. Your editing and clip choice in view of the song was so spot on that I was engaged throughout the vid. Beautifully done.

I was somewhat worried that both this vid and What We Had were going to get lost in the torrent of awesomeness pouring out of VVC this year. It looks like things might have gone over all right, though, so I am cautiously relieved.

Hee! I am glad to hear that. From stalking the VVC journal member's list, it looked as if there were quite a few Doctor Who and Martha vids, and a number of House-finale vids, and I was hoping it would be otherwise. I know a lot of the vids coming out VVC this year are blowing my mind, so it's nice to hear that I didn't completely fall out of the pack. *G*

DW/TW were definitely the surprise "cool popular fandoms" of the con -- the first time the cool popular fandom has ever been one I'm actually in myself. (: And yes, there were many wonderful vids, but your work stood out, as usual.

I really thought this vid was stunning. I had a huge number of 'not my fandom' moments of disconnect with vids this year, but this was one of the few vids in fandoms I don't really follow where I was blown away by the vid and the story it's telling - the damage, the hurt, the pain, wow. It was very clear, and I loved it. Thank you for this.

Thank you! I was really hoping that this would be somewhat penetrable or engaging for those unfamiliar with the canon, so it's a huge relief to hear that it worked for you.
