The fractured storytelling is really brought out by the jumpcuts, reversing, and interplay within the clips. There's a broken feeling to the vid where it seems like everything is trying to fit together in a jumbled mess. Love the play on Amber and House representing the same character. Using an instrumental piece for this was a perfect choice. I think any lyrics would have dulled the sharply viseral impact of the vid. Amazing work.

Oh, thank you. I was at first somewhat leery of using an instrumental piece, but it just seemed to fit so well with what is (at least for my personal creative/stylistic process) a somewhat experimental vid.

I really thought this vid was stunning. I had a huge number of 'not my fandom' moments of disconnect with vids this year, but this was one of the few vids in fandoms I don't really follow where I was blown away by the vid and the story it's telling - the damage, the hurt, the pain, wow. This is by far and large, one of my favorite vids from VVC. I'm sorry that I didn't make to to the non-attending premieres because I would have whooped and hollered as soon as this was finished because damn, this is some fine, fine editing right here.

I have really been remiss in stalking you. I remember watching your BSG vid from the 4th wall entry and gaping. Ghosts makes me gap in the same, amazed, enamored way.

Hee! I was wondering if it was in some way tacky or unoriginal to have two vids (of, um, seven) set to the same artists, but it fit perfectly. This vid and Only are aso the most organic I've done, so it's been helpful in allowing me isolate some of both my strengths and weaknesses as a vidder. Learning is fun!

I don’t know the source but this was unsettling in a good way. The way your protagonist’s bodies are shown part by part like an anatomy lesson. Eyes, mouths hands, all in extreme close-up, images slammed down in rapid succession, chronology fractured. That initial explosion hits viscerally.

Finally I got to commenting on VVC disc 3! Nearly 4 months after the fact. I failed at my House watching somewhere during s3 so I don't have a lot of background for this episode/arc, though I know the rough gist. Your musicality, as usual, is amazing, and I just adore your fragmented style of cutting, jumping back and forth between scenes and cuts and it lends such an amazing surreality to this vid. It's gorgeous.
