Rambling. You were warned.

The one, the only BGirl has a Diary-X. She's a truly wonderful woman, and the first adult to ever give me unconditional support, and she's always been there for me. She's funny and talented, and all that.


(In other news, _bounce_ is a helpful girl. She's found me links to some Australian universities.)

A friend in grade 12 showed up today with a stack of university viewbooks for me, since she knows that with my parents, I can't just get them mailed to me. I love her to pieces.

We did our FoodSafe course today. And I kicked the asses of all the people who're in HomeEc. (I'm in IA. Everyone in HomeEc had to take it, and us building construction people had the option. ) Hee. And I missed an hour when the sub guy came, and I had to organize the order, delivery, stock, etc.

See, I'm insanely proud of these things. For no good reason. And I realize it probably makes me look rather full of myself. Like, in grade 9, I was the only girl in small motors and welding. I went in knowing nothing about either, and I came out on top of the class.

One small victory for a girl...
