I managed to figure out how to do over rides on a free account. Go me. ::G:: Just a couple, but they were the only ones that I wanted.

Band testing went surprisingly well. The director even told me that I was an amazing musician, and a great addition to the Senior Band.

I took my head out on a door yesterday. Before we went ditch picking. I'm just walking through the hall, trying to stop the bleeding, going 'Don't ask.'

It really takes a special sort of person to make them self bleed on a door.

Then, when we were ditch picking, I took out a car.

I didn't actually take it out, if you must know the truth, but... Maybe I should start at the beginning. We're recycling all the empties, cans, and pop bottles we find. I pick up a Seven-Up bottle, and as pop bottles don't fly very far even when you really chuck them, I just lean back and let it fly.

There was some liquid in the bottom.

It flew over the truck, flipped end for end a couple of times, and hit a car driving by. Luckily for them, not in the windshield. It hit the hood first, then the windshield. Luckily for me, they kept driving, and I wasn't forced to hide in the long grass and dips.

We're actually having much more fun doing this than we thought we would, even though we're finished our ditch, so we have to go and pick the other people's. It kind of boggles my mind how slowly they're going. They have more people, less gargage...

Uh, tangent there. I'm really not a bitch, I swear...

As for why it's more fun, I guess it's because I'm with some of my favourite people, and we can make light of just about anything.

We keep finding weirder and weirder stuff... It's like there's a conspiracy. As soon as we think that it just can't get any odder...

So my brother just about burned down our fucking farm.

Shooting matches from a pellet gun. We're in the middle of a drought worse than any seen since before the Dirty Thirties, there's a fire ban over the entire bloody province, and he's shooting matches from a pellet gun. Because he thinks that it's cool to watch the flames.

I made him stop, because I have to drive him to soccer practice. I would have anyways, as soon as I found out.

We get back, about half of the yard is gone.

My sister was home alone. After awhile, she notices a large section of fire outside her window. So she calls dad. Dad is out on the tractor. He kills it trying to get back, and has to run across a number of fields.

We were lucky. My uncle was on his way over to our place for something else. Our elderly neighbor was home. We don't have a fire brigade, per say. There are a couple of people in town, and an engine or two, but by the time they would have gotten out to our place... My sister didn't even call them.

If the wind hadn't died down, there would have been nothing that they could have done. The entire farm would have gone up. Depending on the direction of the wind, it would have spread, hit the natural prairie or Ducks Unlimited Land, and taken out quite a few more farms.

It would have been near impossible to stop.

Damn right I'm freaked out.
