I'm having an incredibly difficult time processing that this has happened, but skywardprodigal has passed away.

I knew her for a long time -- knew her before livejournal, when I was just another stupid kid and she was a shining example of so many of the things I hoped to grow up to be. Though we drifted apart somewhat, as people too often do, all conversations and exchanges were always intelligent and illuminating. She helped to make the internet (and the world) a more beautiful place, and I know I am far from the only one who will miss her dearly.

I'm sorry for your loss, honey. I didn't know her, but from what I've seen she seems to have been an amazing, inspirational person.
