::Cough:: Just things that are taking up a lot of my non-existant time.

Oh, but look! New icon. I was messing around with some pics I took on the digital camera, and figured that it was about time for a new icon.


Current Addictions

» Animal Crossing. (Game Cube) This is the most addictive game. Ever. It *looks* boring. I mean, you decorate a house, fish, find jobs, catch bugs, design cute outfits, take part in challenges... It's like life. But with cute little kids, neater furniture, and background music. It just sucks you in. You play more, and more, and more, and then BAM! You realize that you care more about your house than your actual bedroom.

» 30 Seconds to Mars. An alternative/rock band headed by Jared Leto. They have no radio play here, at all, and I found their CD by accident. Awesome, awesome CD. Some lyrics that you can't get out of your head, and jarring rhythm lines.

» IceberryWave Gatoraide. It's just yummy. White grape/strawberry, and it's clear, so teachers don't notice if you have it in class. They just think it's water.

» Alias. Last season, I could have left or taken it, but this year... Wow. I don't buy last's ep's Jack for a second, though. He's doing the exact same thing he accuse Irina of. He's just playing Sydney.

» Alias fic. Slash fic, in particular. I was bumbling through the fandom, in my newbie manner, and came across some. I'd never thought of it, but I'm hooked all the same. It's probably just because I've read some really, really good stuff. It's probably because I haven't read any of it (yet) that scares me, or makes me want to hide. Maybe it's because it's all I can find other than Syd/Vaugn, and it's making my teeth hurt.

» Anil's Ghost. Good. Book. Go read.

» CSI. It's like crack. What else can I say?

» Firefly. It shows great promise, even if at the current time, it sometimes misses its mark.
(I will not write Buffy/Firefly, I will not write Buffy/Firefly, I will not write Buffy/Firefly, I will not write Buffy/Firefly...)

» Sports. (Does this surprise anyone?) More particularly, basketball and taekwon-do. Volleyball's over, and indoor track doesn't start for another few months. ::Sigh:: I miss figure skating.

» Vivaldi, Teleman, and Greig. Those guys rocked, plain and simple. We need to start playing a bit of classical music in band.

Ehhh. I bought Anil's Ghost like a year ago and never did get into it. I don't mind books being hard to read (The Hours took me FOREVER to read, but I couldn't put it down) but I'll give up on a book pretty quick if it's work to get through. But, who knows, lots of times I'll just pick it up randomly one day and read the whole thing, so maybe I'll try it again if you say it's good. :)

See, here's the thing:
It's not the kind of book I'd normally read. At all. Yet I am enjoying it.

So I'm not the best judge to go by. Now, if you want some weird/fantasy type books, I can recommend a few. ::G::
