Dec. 17th, 2002 09:53 pmA rather neat idea I snagged from
musesfool. (Even though my carry-through may be slightly lacking in comparison)
You rock. I don't know how many times I've told you this, but you really need to start believing it. If you were around more, I could remind you of it. ::Stern look:: You should be around more.
To be honest, I'm still a bit in awe of you. I aspire to one day be as elonquent as you are capable of being.
You're one of the best beta readers I've ever had, hands down. You manage to pull threads of things I do consistently wrong together, and figure out how to fix them. You make me a better writer.
You gave me some of my first breaks in this fandom - I really do believe that you've helped me get to where I am, where ever it is that I may be. You made me feel welcome in new community, and I will always appreciate it.
We don't talk any more - We've kind of drifted apart. I think all of us from that original group have, but it's always great to watch you develop through all these new interests, many of which I would not otherwise have had exposure to.
You're my uncle. What else can I say?
Prairie Girl - It's nice to see that I'm not the only one who used LJ as a journal. It's always nice to hear what's going on in your life. It's nice to have someone who understands the plains of Canada.
I don't know you that well, but you seem pretty damned cool. You've always got interesting news and tidbits.
You're another alias of someone I've already covered.
You're another one who's not around much. I miss you. Come back, please?
You seem to have developed an ability to accept criticism, while still not giving a damn what anyone else thinks. You say what you want to say, and let the chips fall where they may. I really respect that, even when I happen to disagree with you.
You're a sweet heart. You somehow manage to look out for me, and you're always in my corner. We just need to work on that self-esteem of yours a bit more.
You can be cynical, but you are always amusing. You never pretend to be anything other than who you are.
How can I not adore someone who thinks that I'm cute? You're always amusing, and your good humour is infectious.
Just watching you pop up all the new icons is worth reading your journal for.
I don't know you that well, but your enthusiasm is refreshing.
Your running commentary always ensures I will have something amusing to read.
You love Alias, too. Even if we pick different pairings. We actually prefer different pairings in pretty much everything, but I always enjoy your writing. Plus, you wrote Boromir fic.
You really made my day today. ::Hugs:: Thank you for your kind words.
I know that you have things going on right now, and that others haven't turned out as you'd planned. I wish you all the best, and I hope you always remember that though there are dead ends, there are detours around them.
You make me laugh. Update more often.
The things you are capable of doing with computers are ones that I've always thought were neat, and from all reports, you're a master at what you do.
You've been walking a fine dividing line lately, and you've managed not to totter to either side. I applaud you.
Your continued drive through adversity amazes me. You're strong, but not afraid to admit when you need help, or when you're feeling alone or depressed.
Update more often. I haven't heard anything from you in much too long. Were you attacked by rabid penguins? I mean, for all I know, polar bears broke down your door and had you for brunch.
You're a comforting presence, and always a pleasure to see. I wish we'd run into each other more often.
You have a remarkable ability to get your points across in very few words. Of course, this means that I hear less from you.
Every time we've spoken (which, for some reason, tend to be grouped and then nothing at all) I wish that I'd see you more often. I know that you have a lot going on, and I know I have no right to demand it, but I wouldn't mind knowing what's going on with you every once and a while.
You make a show I've never even seen amusing. That takes talent.
You, as well, I don't know that well, but I've heard nothing but good things from others. I admire the dedication it takes to keep up with the number of people you have friendslisted - I think my head would explode.
We have few things in common, but you're still a really neat person. Through your journal entries, I find myself experiencing a whole scope of things I wouldn't have come across on my own.
You've seen Saskatchewan. You know the deal. How could you not be cool?
You're another person who's not around enough, but I'd like to get to know better. We exchange pleasantries when we see each other, but we never really talk.
You've never done anything other than what you want to do. You've got great ideas, and out of the blue, you started pouncing me on IRC. You have a gift for making people comfortable.
