I haven't really been writing lately. And while there are reasons for this, it is not a situation I like.
So I'm throwing this open. I've seen a few other do it, and it did result in much writing.
Requests? Ask, and ye shall receive.
X-Cetera, Alias, West Wing, Firefly, Buffy/Angel, CSI, X-Files, Third Watch, Smallville, Harry Potter, LotR, Matrix, La Femme Nikita, Felicity, Kencyr, Old School Dawson's, Narnia, Wizard of Oz, or anything else you've heard me mention, even in passing. Heck, if there's something else, just ask and I'll see what I can do. The point of this is to write new things, after all.
Two restrictions: There will be no Snape/Student fic. There will be no fish-boy fic (unless it involves a painfully convoluted death).
Everyone who asks *will* get something. It may be a week or two, but it will be written. I can't guarantee length -- some will likely be drabbles, but hopefully full-length stories will also result.
That's about it. I will need a few pieces of information, though. Characters and/or Pairing and/or Fandom, of course. I need a bit of a base.
A basic story idea would be neat, but working with a colour/impression/line/feeling/etc. would be really interesting. Anything else you want to throw in, or not, is cool. Highly improbably crossovers are more than welcome.
Four or five words in my comments will get you some sort of story. It's that easy.
Now, I'm just going to sit in the corner over there and hope that *someone* answers the challenge. Because I'd look rather like a dolt if I offered up free stories (of uncertain length, but still) and no one wanted them.

Heck, a mother has to deal with her five year old becoming a Slayer. Or even how Sunnydale copes with the fact that Oz's nephew is a werewolf as well. Hush from the propestive of two sisters, one mute or deaf and the other 'normal'. Souled Spike dealing with a Goth.
Transitioning to X-books, I've had the therory that Pete Wisdom's sister Romany is a Watcher. How about Pete trying to keep her and her potential safe?
Always loving the Sam stories (especially with Rahne.)

Second pick would be Emma Frost/Iceman. You write Emma wonderfully, and WQ/Iceman has always been a favorite pairing of mine.

Perhaps an alternate 5th year with the Order of the Phoenix being an active part of the resistance? ("Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything" indeed.)
Or maybe I just need to get a little more sleep...
