Snatched from all over the place...

What kind of work is my name associated with? What kind of assumptions do you make about a piece of writing, fiction or non, if you see my name on it?

Nota bene: This is emphatically NOT an attempt to fish for compliments. I'm not trying to get judgements on the quality of my work, but rather about its other characteristics.

For example, if you were given the name of an actor, that might make you think of a certain genre of film he or she is often in or a type of character.

What is Cherry-brand writing?

I'm posting because, well, I'm curious. There are two or three isolated groups who are (theoretically) read this, and I'm wondering if those familiar with my comics work hold a different impression those who've read my Alias, etc.

And the over-all curiosity, too. There is that.

Mature, sophisticated, and highly complex.
Constant amazement at actual age and expected life experience of the author; something does not compute.

Creepy, strange (both in a good way) and intelligent stuff, with lines that stay in your head for ages. (For example, that one about Ceceilia seeing reality as America's shroud is still haunting me.)

Strange, *scary* writing that takes characters apart and then puts them back together in ways that you'd never think would work but do. Reading your work, it's hard to believe that you're *my* age. You sound so much older.

Your fic is always deep, even any fluffy fics lol. Nothing is ever as it seems with your writing, there is always a twist and meanings you have to think about. You have a way with words. You use a lot of them :) and they always work real well because of the way you make them flow.

Cherrybrand needs a publishing company. :)
