Icons, get your icons...
Nov. 2nd, 2003 05:29 pmTrick-or-eat was a blast. We managed to get a lot of food for the food bank, and L and I just had fun. We went back to our hometown, and everyone thought we were cute, and gave us candy as well as food.
It was however, strangely dead. This resulted in a strange conversation on 'kids these days...' after which we looked at each other, blinked, and felt ever so old.
The icon is one of me on Halloween. It was a pretty sweet mask -- you can't see the peacock feather or some of the others, but it was neat. Got it at the dollar store, too. I love the dollar store.
Anyhow. The point of the post. I've been icon-making like crazy for the last little while, and some of them aren't half bad. I've been thinking of joining a few icon-posting communities, but first I need to find a (free) webhost that allows direct image linking.
That also wasn't the point.
If you would like an icon (any icon), drop a comment. Any fandom or character, anything random, an emotion, a colour... Heck, if you just have a quote, let me know. The only restriction is that when I make animated icons, the colours go all funky.

Date: 2003-11-02 05:01 pm (UTC)Ooh! Rod Stewart! For my boyfriend hates him and I like to annoy him. ^_^ (Doesn't hurt that I like a few of his songs.)
Would make the icon myself but Paint hasn't worked for months so I can't. >_<

Date: 2003-11-04 07:34 pm (UTC)::Grins:: Innit neat? Trick-or-eat is run by the U of S, and usually only goes in Saskatoon. L and I just wanted to go back to our town to do it, and we did. It was great -- people saw us through the window, started laughing, and thought we were cute. They tried to give us candy, we told them why we were there, and they brought us in to warm us up, gave us food, and still gave us candy.

Well, here's to hoping that at least one of the people who asked me to make icons for them will use one of them...
You've got a choice of six, hon. ::G:: Hope one strikes your fancy.
