Saw RotK again, this time with the cousins, who've taken us to each movie at Christmas.

I still have a few minor continuity/time lapse/relative rate of travel issues. And the disappear horses bother me. Only thing I can figure is that the Orcs ate them. I'm trying to figure out the apparent suicide gate in the White City, though. Does that hole have any other use other than to run off of and create a greasy charcoal smear?

Also, in the last ending, we see four hobbits riding ahead of the wagon Gandalf is driving. Inside which sit both Frodo and Bilbo. Who is this mysterious hobbit outrider?

I'm still with the 'squee!' though. I'm just the annoying girl who sits beside you in the movie and says "So, the orcs stood around watching the men with the sharp pointy weapons until the tired hobbits had climbed up the big, tall mountain?

And also, because I believe that facial hair is not a spoiler: Unless you are a dwarf, really old, or Santa Claus? Beards are not your friend.

And can I just say it's awesome that Bean got a "And Sean Bean" just because he was in a flashback?

We all remember I love Boromir, right?

Yeah the hobbit thing bugged me too!!! I thought I was just imagining it the first time, but it's there the second time too...

These things just bug me. And, yeah. I'd so be awesome at being continuity girl -- except for how I'd make everyone go back and reshoot everything and then they'd be out serious money and make it back by not-paying me.


And as for screencaps -- well, I like Merry. And Boromir. And Eowyn.
