So. It rained. Then it snowed. Then it stopped, and was sunny. Then it was foggy, then sunny again. And then water started evaporating off everywhere, steam all over. Then it was sunny for awhile longer. Then it snow/sleeted. Then recess ended, we went to class, and it started changing too quickly for us to keep up with it. But we know that there was hail some time in there.

Cold?
::Elapsed time-5 minutes::
Wait. So you're telling me that 12C is COLD?
I think my brain just broke. -60C or less in the wind is not uncommon over the winter here... Sometimes, the fuel in the bus freezes, and we can't go to school because it won't run.
Of course, it can get up to 40 in the summer, but still...
::Blinks a little, shakes her head, and continues on::
I was actually trying to look at Australian universities while I was directory searching Google for ones abroad, but it seemed to have this strange lack of a category for them...

Date: 2002-05-01 12:17 am (UTC)Well, I *have* been on two trips up to the snow. And the bus broke down once, when I was little because the engine froze and I've seen frost every winter and puddles that have frozen over, so I know what cold is. (Yes, feel free to laugh yourself stupid over this.)
Hey, I'll try and look up the addresses of Aussie universities for you. Websites and all I mean. Maybe it's just your computer.
*hugs* Bounce.

Date: 2002-05-01 09:35 am (UTC)I mean, in the winter, my hair freezes between my house and my getting on the bus. We had a snow storm yesterday. It's supposed to be 24 tomorrow, though.

Aww, thank you. I really appreciate that. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was just my computer. It's evil like that. ::Mutters a bit, then snugs Bounce::
