Jun. 28th, 2004 02:43 pmLooks like I'm offlining again. I talked to tech support at Disk Warrior, and they assured me that it will, indeed, fix my computer.
However, due to the numerous file overlaps (hanging at 382 right now) it will take a while to finish. They say it's also likely that my memory card was bad (things started working again once it was removed), so I should leave it out. However, this means that I don't have that much space on my HD, even after mass deletes. This is slowing down the process even farther.
(
elvenjen4, they said the flickering space availability was due the file overlaps.)
The point is this: It might take a week or two for Disk Warrior to finish fixing my computer. While it's running, that's all that can run.
So, I'll be missing for a while again. No one worry. ::G::
(Someone who knows: Can I throw the battery back in, now? My neighbourhood has been experiencing power outages, and I don't want to loose all progress if the power flickers.)
