May. 5th, 2002 02:49 pmThere was a pretty little Myrtle's Warbler outside. It was sitting outside my bedroom window, looking in at me.
We don't have many of those around here. It's actually the first one I've ever seen, but they are gorgeous. Black/Brown mottled with white, and yellow patches.
I go out to take out the compost, and what do I find on the step? Pretty little Myrtle Warbler corpse, chewed to pieces.
See, our cats don't catch birds. This is the fist bird that they have ever caught. And is it a barn sparrow? Noooo. It's the pretty little Myrtle's Warbler.
Stupid cats.
