What the world needs now...
Jan. 2nd, 2005 05:01 pmI've tried this in several forms. The anonymous version leaves people never able to figure out who they are, and cut-tagging it results in people not reading it.
Snatched from all about:
Comment here, and I'll let you in on a few of the reasons I think you rock.

Date: 2005-01-03 01:04 am (UTC)You seem always to care deeply about everything you do, an all those around you.

Date: 2005-01-03 01:32 am (UTC)I do hold some stuff back, but part of having a LJ was for me to learn to be okay with saying what's on my mind without fear of reprisal, and to learn it is okay to stand up for myself.
I haven't totally mastered it, yet, but I have a good group of people who are reading me and being supportive and good, and that helps a lot.
Your boomerang is on my LJ, btw :)

Date: 2005-01-03 02:45 am (UTC)Oh, hee. Thank you. I've just always figured -- what happens happens, right? You have to deal with it, so you might as well deal with it with a smile. And when things aren't actually happening? You might as well be happy, because there are so many wonderful things around us that people just don't notice.
The world is just more fun when you're having fun.
Ahem. I am well aware that coherence is not one of my particular strong points, yes.

Date: 2005-01-03 01:51 am (UTC)Ahem. Right.
You are phenomenally strong. Stronger than even you realize, I think. I know how I get when I'm sidelined by a sports injury, and the courage and grace with which you deal with the fibro is amazing. You just have to remember that we're all allowed to vent at times -- that doesn't make you weak, it makes you human.
You also happen to be an amazing artist. Your talent will take you far. *G*

Date: 2005-01-03 02:10 am (UTC)I suppose I can say that I admire how you always speak your mind. What others think of it never seems to concern you, but you're still willing to give an take when someone has valid points. You never seem to come across as macho-tough... just strong.
You make people think. You make them question.

Date: 2005-01-03 02:28 am (UTC)-- No, really, this is a good thing! It is! It's how all my friends and I relate in real life.
You get people's attention. You remind me of people I know. You remind me of good friends -- you seem to present a very balanced, very real portrait of yourself.
Plus, you like Emma Frost. (And maybe you're helping draw me into DCU.)
