You ever have one of those days?

Where you're still coughing and sore and sick and your eyes are starting just to burn and the computer ate your story for the second goddamn time? And you have a like-wise eaten lab/assignment that's due that afternoon, a resume to write and place to fax it to find, and three midterms in four hours in the afternoon and you're just not ready for them; and after that you promised to go to a concert with your friend, and a different concert the next day after you drag yourself into school on a Saturday to do a formal lab report?

Yeah.

I don't normally have this problem. Just. Bah. The last week or so has been not-fun.

This story was supposed to be for the last ds_flashfiction challenge, but it's so not going to make the deadline. Guh.

(And I asked for a beta and brooklinegirl volunteered, but I haven't emailed it to her yet because it's still missing, and I'm beginning to feel like a bit of a twat. So. Yeah.)

Stupid deadlines. Stupid week.
