I'm going to take this to mean that despite the two false alarms, my sending something a little sub-par along tomorrow at some point after work would be acceptable?

I just haven't been able to get the writing on the page lately, at all, and I don't know why.

It should have hit your mailbox already. *G* Something about the entire story just feels a little *off* to me, but I've been known to be a bit hard on myself.

Don't worry about it taking a few days. I don't go out of town until Friday, anyway.

I know what you mean about a work backlog, though, even though I'm exactly sure what you do.

At the research station, we had almost two weeks of work, so we got mega behind on our outdoor sampling, and we've been rushing to catch up in the +36. Yay, sunburn through clothing!
