cherrySchool's out and it's finally starting to look like spring summer.
It's been a crazy few weeks, but yesterday was the last day of school and it was +23 and sunny. It's starting to green up, and you can finally smell things growing. Scent isn't one of my strongest associations -- I tend to be more visual and kinetic -- but I never realize how much I miss the smell of greenery until spring.
I still maintain the one of the funniest things in the world is watching people in shorts and tank tops (in +25 weather) fall into the snow banks that haven't finished melting yet.
I took a nap between classes, on Friday. In the Bowl, in the sun. I should have been working, and I sunburned myself (it was a half-hour, but I'm melanin-impaired), but it was the best nap I've had in a long time.
Dust devils all over the place, because it's been windy and everything's still covered in gravel due to Saskatoon road management practices.
Winter:
Hey, ice. Throw some gravel on it, quick!
Summer:
Hey, potholes. Throw some gravel on them, quick!
Tomorrow, I'm going to down to the city I'll be living in over the summer to work, to try to find a place to live. After that, it's finals. I'm going to try to do more than an hour of studying for each of my finals this term.

Also, people keep hitting my site through one of my older Harry Potter stories, and it's confusing me. I hope I'm not being mocked.
