Today, upon returning home from school and work, I found three things of glee in my mailbox.
1) My new issue of Discover magazine. It is a magazine that makes me happy. I've never read a Chatelaine or a Redbook or a Cosmo -- and I'm pretty sure I couldn't, not without experiencing some sort of narcoleptic fit -- but I sure do love my science/technology magazines.
No, I'm not like the other girls.
2) A postcard from
thefourthvine. Thank you! I don't know what a "daughter of the regiment" is either, but I wouldn't want to meet her alone at night in a dark alley. Swords just instill that reaction in me.
3) A letter from the Dean's Office in Engineering. You, dear reader, might recall that I had an awful, no good, terrible, very bad year, but: I made the Dean's Honour Roll. In Engineering. SQUEEEE!

But! HEEE! *twirls*
