cherry1) The new M.I.A. album, Kala is absolutely fantastic. I am so very in love with it. It's less radio friendly than Arular was, more cynical, but it has a depth that I think is really going to grow with replay. You really do love her or hate her.
2) I was at the optometrist the other day. This is notable only in that she called the other evening to see if she could give my phone number to her son. It's something she's joked about before -- she's been my eye doctor my entire life, and has mentioned before that she thought we'd get on.
My optometrist is trying to set me up with her son. I find this amusing on any number of levels.
